NEFA plans return trip to Providence for its Fall Fest
The North East Fabricare Association will be hosting its annual Fall Fest convention on Nov.
12 and 13 at the Providence Biltmore, the same venue as last year’s event that proved to be
a successful one.
On Saturday, Trudy Adams will present a program on “The Magic of a Touch Point” that
emphasizes customer relationship programs. Formerly of Cleaner’s Supply, she now works as
a consultant for 21st Century Dry Cleaning.
On the following morning, she will be back at the podium for another program titled
“Creating a Super Customer Service Representative.”
“We are really looking forward to some great speakers this year, and are really excited by
some of the new faces we are able to bring in,” noted Peter Blake, executive vice president
for NEFA. “Trudy has spoken all over the country, but has never been to a NEFA event, and I
know people will really get a lot out of her presentations. We also wanted to return to having
Sunday Morning’s program focus on the front end of the counter for managers as well as key
customer service personnel.”
Blake hopes to build on the success of last year’s Fall Fest, which enjoyed record numbers.
“Fall Fest ‘15 had the best overall attendance including the most vendor participation, and
highest number of plants represented than we have ever had, and I think with some of the
changes and with some of the great speakers we are lining up —we can do even better,” he
