The California Cleaners Association will host its Fabricare 2016 trade show in Long Beach, CA,
this month and there will be no shortage of expert speakers during the educational portion of
the event and a special pre-show program.
The activities will take place from Aug. 26 to 28 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Among the speakers already scheduled are James Peuster, Diana Vollmer and Trudy Adams,
all well-known experts in the drycleaning industry.
Peuster and Vollmer will headline a block of seminars at the Long Beach Convention Center on
Friday, just prior to the convention. Peuster, known for his consultant work at The Route Pro,
will discuss “Five Ways to Uncover/Discover Hidden Talent in Your Staff” from 10 a.m. until 1
p.m.
Afterward, Vollmer of Methods for Management will be on hand to examine “Methods for

Each educational program is considered separate from the official convention’s schedule and
will cost $75 each per member and $100 each per non-member. Members may attend both for
$125 and non-members for $150.
On Saturday morning, the official educational programming will begin at 10 a.m. when Adams
offers a one-hour session on the topic of “Power of Touchpoint.” She will be followed by Jibit
Cinar of the Cepkinian Cinar Law Group who will examine “Labor Laws Every Drycleaning
Business Should Know” from noon to 1 p.m.
More education will take place on Sunday morning, starting with “Creating a Super Customer
Service Representative” by Trudy Adams at 11 a.m. Then, there will be a solvent panel
discussion from 1 to 2 p.m.
Additionally, there will be various live demonstrations of working drycleaning equipment and
educational clinics on the floor of the exhibit hall throughout the weekend.
The exhibit hall will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
on Sunday. It will feature all of the latest technology, equipment and innovations in the industry
all in one convenient place. Admission to the exhibit hall is free.
